Foster is designed to help you optimize the effort you make in taking care of your household plants. It educates you about the basic stuff, and creates the most efficient schedules for you to follow.

There were 4 broad stages:

  1. Ideation and Articulation
  2. Mapping and Envisioning
  3. Wireframing and Visual Design
  4. Prototyping
Stage 1. Ideation and Articulation
  • Name, Tagline and Mission Statement
  • Identified Primary and Secondary Functions of the App
  • Created some Target User Profiles
  • Figured out Users' and Developers' Goals
Stage 2. Mapping and Envisioning
  • Created User Journeys for each function
  • Created a Content Map with all the sections in the app
  • Created an Interaction Map charting out all the user flows
  • Created a Sitemap of all screens within the app
Stage 3. Wireframing and Visual Design
  • Wireframing - Laid out each screen in more detail, making finer decisions about the interface design style
  • Visual Development - Created a Mood Board to develop Colors, Typography, Images, Icons, Button styles, Logo and more
  • UI Design - Built a visually captivating Interface and populated it with realistic data
Stage 4. Prototyping

Created an interactive experience to closely simulate the experience of using the app.
